1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using BookMyGlobal (“BMG”, “we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree with any part of these terms, please don’t use the platform.

2. Our services

BookMyGlobal offers two categories of service:

• Services we run directly: International Driving Permit (IDP) issuance, MEA & Embassy attestation, and yoga tourism retreats in Rishikesh. We are directly responsible for the quality and delivery of these.
• Services via partners: Flights, hotels, tours and activities (via Viator), cruises, international bus bookings, and visa application assistance. These are fulfilled by third-party partners; BMG facilitates the booking and provides support, but the partner’s own terms also apply.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make bookings on BMG. You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

4. Bookings and payments

Prices shown at checkout are final unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways; BMG does not store your full card details. A booking is confirmed only once payment is successfully processed and you receive a confirmation.

5. International Driving Permit terms

The IDP is issued based on the information and documents you submit. You’re responsible for ensuring your local driving license is valid and that the details you provide are accurate. An IDP does not replace your local driving license — it accompanies it. Acceptance of an IDP varies by country; we provide guidance, but local enforcement decisions are outside our control.

6. MEA and embassy attestation terms

This service is available only for documents issued in India. Processing times are estimates and depend on government and embassy offices — we do not control or guarantee specific turnaround times. You’re responsible for ensuring uploaded documents are genuine, complete, and legible.

7. Visa assistance terms

BookMyGlobal provides assistance with visa applications — guidance, document checklists, and submission support. We do not guarantee visa approval. The decision to grant or deny a visa rests entirely with the relevant embassy or consulate.

8. Yoga tourism terms

Yoga retreats listed under BookMyGlobal’s Rishikesh program are operated directly by us. Itineraries, teachers, and accommodation details are as described at the time of booking; minor changes may occur due to circumstances beyond our control (weather, teacher availability, local conditions), in which case we’ll offer a reasonable equivalent.

9. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation and refund terms vary by service:

• IDP: Non-refundable once processing has started, as document verification begins immediately.
• MEA/Embassy attestation: Non-refundable once a document has been submitted to the relevant authority.
• Yoga retreats: Full refund for cancellations 15+ days before the start date; 50% refund for 7–14 days before; no refund inside 7 days.
• Flights, hotels, tours, cruises, buses: Governed by the relevant partner’s cancellation policy, shown at the time of booking.

10. Community conduct

The BookMyGlobal traveler community is meant for genuine, respectful interaction between travelers. Harassment, spam, fake profiles, or unsafe conduct at meetups may result in account suspension. Use good judgment when meeting people in person — BMG facilitates connections but is not present at meetups and cannot guarantee anyone’s conduct.

11. Limitation of liability

BMG is not liable for losses arising from third-party partner services, decisions made by government authorities or embassies, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. For services we directly operate, our liability is limited to the amount paid for that specific service.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of BMG after changes means you accept the revised terms.
